How to Handle Promotions with Pricing Plans in SalesPlay POS

Step-by-step

SalesPlay POS allows you to create different pricing plans for products, like offering discounts based on the quantity purchased.

For example, if you sell butter, you can offer these deals:

1 Butter for Rs. 25
3 or more for Rs. 70 (Rs. 23.33 each)
6 or more for Rs. 130 (Rs. 21.67 each)
12 or more for Rs. 250 (Rs. 20.83 each)

Follow the steps below to create these pricing plans. 


Step 1: Create a Pricing Plan

1. Login to SalesPlay POS Back Office
2. Select “ Promotions ” from the main menu
3. Go to “ Pricing Plans”
4. Click “ Create Pricing Plan”
5. Enter the pricing plan name, effective end date, etc.
6.. Select the price change TYPE
7. Select the product add value and add the + button
8. Click Save

 

You can follow below steps as per the example

Log in to the SalesPlay POS Back Office.
From the main menu, select "Promotions."
Go to "Pricing Plans."
Click "Create Pricing Plan."
Enter the pricing plan name, such as "Butter Qty 3 to 5," and set the end date to 2025.
Choose the "Override" option under price change type.
Select the product (Butter), enter the value (23.33), and click the "+" button.
Click "Save."


Repeat the same process for the other pricing plans:

6 or more for Rs. 130 (Rs. 21.67 each)
12 or more for Rs. 250 (Rs. 20.83 each)

 


Step 2: Use the Pricing Plan in the POS App

Open the SalesPlay POS app.
Select the product (Butter).
A pop-up will appear showing all available pricing plans.
Choose the correct pricing plan based on the quantity the customer is buying.

 
For example, if the customer wants 4 butters, select the "Butter Qty 3 to 5" plan.
Enter the quantity, click "Add," and then click "Charge" to complete the sale.
This process helps you manage different pricing options for your products easily.
