Product - POS System

Add Products

Go to ' SalesPlay POS App ' → Select 'Main Menu' Icon → Select 'Products' Menu Tab → Select 'Add Products' Link → Click on '+' Icon

Form Information
  • Provide the Product Name
  • Select Category ( Refer How to Create Categories )
  • Select Sub category ( Only if you maintain Sub Categories )
  • Enter the Regular Unit Price. ( If you keep this empty you can change the price in billing interface)
  • Provide the Product Code ( Only if you have your own product code)
  • Enter the Regular Unit Cost (Optional)
  • Click on 'Save' Button

Add Product

    • If you need to save this product as a Composite Product, KOT Item, Stock Control, tick these check boxes.

Form Information
  • Select the Measurement Type (You can add new measurements by clicking on New Button)
  • Enter the Barcode (Optional)
  • You can Enable / Disable Price here.
    • Enable – You can change the price in billing interface
    • Disable – You can’t change the price in billing interface
  • Select Tax ( Refer how to create taxes in the manual)
    • After you tick on Stock Control, you will have followings :
  • Place a tick if the product included with an Product Expiry Date
  • Enter the Safety Stock Level (Refer Low Stock Product Page)

Add Product - Bulk Upload

Click 'Products' Tab → Click 'Add Products' Tab

  • Click on 'Bulk Upload' button
  • Click on 'Download' button to download the CSV template
    • Here you can Edit the CSV file and can add product details according to the template ( Refer the CSV Formatting Guidelines)
  • Click on 'Browse' button to browse the file from your device
  • Click on 'Upload' button to save the product details

  • Select Sub Category ( Only if you maintain sub categories)
  • Provide the Product Code ( Only if you have your own product code)

  • By default Available for Sale and Composite Product is ticked in the system
    • If you need to save this product as a KOT Item, Stock Control, tick these check boxes.
