SalesPlay POS now supports printing in multiple languages using non-Latin scripts. This enhancement caters to a diverse global clientele by enabling receipt printing in various languages.
This improvement supports receipt printing in a wide array of languages and scripts, including Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic, Korean, Thai, Hindi, Sinhala, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, and additional non-Latin scripts such as Cyrillic (Russian and Ukrainian), Greek, Ethiopic, Khmer, Myanmar, and Gujarati.
With support for these languages, SalesPlay POS ensures that businesses can provide receipts in their customers' preferred language, enhancing customer satisfaction and facilitating better communication.
Changing the language of the receipt or bill printed through the SalesPlay POS system is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Steps to Change the Receipt Printing Language
1. Open the POS App Main Menu
2. Select "Settings"
3. Select "Printers"
4. Click the "Add (+)" Button
5. Select Printer Type as "Receipts"
6. Select a Printer Model
7. If Your Printer Brand and Model Are Not Listed, Select "Other Model"
8. Select the Connection Mode and Set Other Required Settings
9. Select the Paper Size
10. Click "Advanced Settings"
11. Select Printer Mode as "Graphic Enhanced"
12. Click SAVE
Once the printer settings are saved, perform a test receipt print to ensure the settings are correct.
( We highly recommend using the "Graphic Enhanced" option for printing in other languages. However, if you experience printing issues or delays, you can switch to the "Graphic Legacy" option and check for improvements. )
If you want to change the POS App UI language, you can set your device language to one of the 16 supported languages. The SalesPlay POS App UI supports:
SalesPlay POS App UI supports 16 languages, including English, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Filipino, German, Italian, Khmer, Swedish, Turkish, Malay, and Thai.
If the POS App UI language is not listed above, the default language will be English. For example, to change the POS App's UI language to French, select the French language from the POS terminal/device's "language" setting.
