The "Email Notification" feature is a functionality within a POS software system that enables the automatic generation and dispatch of email messages to designated recipients based on specific events or triggers.

Staff Login/Logout Notification:
Daily Sales Summary Notification:
Low Stock and Safety Stock Notification:


How to Get an Email Notification for Login and Logout

This notification sends an email alert whenever a staff member logs into or logs out of the POS application.

 

1. Login to SalesPlay POS Back Office Webportal
2. Select “ Settings ” from main menu
3. Go to the “ Feature”
4. Tick ON “ Notification Settings ” button
5. Click “ Save”

(Once you ON “Notification settings”, it will appear as a sub-menu in the Settings section)

6. Select Notification Settings
7. Enter a valid Email Address which you want to get notification
8. Tick On “Daily Sales Summary” button
9. Enter a time
10. Click “Update”


How to Get an Email Notification for Sales Summary

This notification provides a daily sales summary for a given time of the day, offering insights into the business's performance.

1. Login to SalesPlay POS Back Office Webportal
2. Select “ Settings ” from main menu
3. Go to the “ Feature”
4. Tick ON “ Notification Settings ” button
5. Click “ Save”

(Once you ON “Notification settings”, it will appear as a sub-menu in the Settings section)

6. Select Notification Settings
7. Enter a valid Email Address which you want to get notification
8. Tick On “Daily Sales Summary” button
9. Enter a time
10. Click “Update”


How to Get an Email Notification for Low Stock

This notification alerts users when the stock levels of certain products fall below a predefined safety stock threshold, signaling the need to reorder.



1. Login to POS Back Office Webportal
2. Select “ Settings ” from main menu
3. Go to the “ Feature”
4. Tick ON “ Notification Settings ” button
5. Click “ Save”

(Once you ON “Notification settings”, it will appear as a sub-menu in Settings section)

6. Select Notification Settings
7. Enter a valid Email Address which you want to get low stock notification
8. Tick On “Low stock notification” button
9. Enter a time
10. Click “Update”
