Step-by-step guide
The new "Blind Cash Up" feature in the SalesPlay POS App enhances security by preventing potential fraud by cashiers or users. With this feature, cashiers won't see the expected cash amount during their shift, ensuring they can't manipulate it. Instead, they input the actual cash value. If they need to see the expected amount, they must get access through the backoffice user section.
This feature reduces the risk of misreporting and internal theft, promoting honesty in cash handling.
Advantages of the "Blind Cash up" feature:
Mitigates the risk of intentional misreporting or manipulation of cash amounts by cashiers. Acts as a deterrent against internal theft and fraud, promoting honesty in cash handling.
(Once the "view shift report" option is unchecked, users will be unable to access the "shift report" in the cash management section, and they won't have visibility of the expected cash amount during shift-end.)
( Users will not have access to the "shift report" within the cash management section, and they will be unable to view the “expected cash amount” at shift-end. They must enter the "actual cash amount" during the shift-end process.)
(Once the feature is deactivated, users will regain access to the "shift report" in the cash management section, and they will be able to see the expected cash amount during shift-end.)
