How to Add Personalized Notes / Comment or Messages to Receipts

The Custom Comment/Remark feature in the SalesPlay POS system allows cashiers to include personalized messages or important remarks on the receipt. This is useful for businesses where additional instructions or information need to be communicated to the customer, such as in retail stores, pharmacies, or service centers.

 

Why Use This Feature?

 

Example 1: A pharmacy can add messages like "Take this medicine after meals."

Example 2: An automotive service center can add details like vehicle mileage on the receipt for accurate record-keeping.

 

 


How to Enable the Custom Comment/Remark Feature

To add a custom note to the receipt, you need to activate this feature from the back office.

 

Steps to Enable the Feature:

  1. Log in to the Back Office Webportal.
  2. Select Settings from the main menu.
  3. Go to Design Receipt.
  4. Click the More button next to "Design Receipt."
  5. Toggle ON the Space for Receipt Comment button.
  6. Click Update.

After completing these steps, the option to add comments will appear on the POS App at the final billing stage.


How to Add a Note Before Printing the Receipt

Once the feature is activated, follow these steps to add a comment to the receipt:

 

During the checkout process in the POS App, before printing the receipt, you will see an option to add a Receipt Note.

Use the on-screen keyboard to type your personalized message or remark.

After entering the message, proceed with the normal receipt printing process.

The note will appear on the final printed receipt.

 


How to Disable the Feature

If you want to turn off this feature, simply follow the steps mentioned above, but toggle OFF the Space for Receipt Comment button and click Update.

This feature ensures that your business can provide personalized and important messages to customers in a simple and effective way.
